Tax Clients:
MG Accounting & Tax Services provides a secure digital portal where you can easily upload and access your documents at any time. For each service, we will send you an engagement letter and tax organizer—either by email or hard copy, based on your preference.
To ensure a smooth process, please take your time to review, sign, and complete each document, including the tax organizer, and provide all required information. If additional details or documents are needed, I’ll reach out to you directly.
To help avoid any delays, please submit all documents promptly. Services are completed on a first-come, first-served basis, so timely and accurate submissions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Pay Your Bill to Access Signature Forms- To streamline our process, payment is now required prior to accessing the signature forms. In the past, payment was requested after completing and submitting your taxes. Moving forward, once your tax return is delivered to your ShareFile account, you will be prompted to pay your bill before signing the required e-file authorization forms. However, you will still have full access to review your client copy before making your payment. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Please notify our office as soon as possible if you’ll need an extension for filing. To serve you best, we would like to know in advance if you require additional time. Thank you!
Business Clients:
We’ll be using a secure digital portal for document requests and uploads, giving you full access to your documents at any time. I will send a contract for your review and approval—please sign and return it via email or through the portal. Once the contract is signed, we can move forward.
If any additional services are needed beyond those outlined in the original contract, we’ll provide a separate contract to cover them.
To ensure timely tax filing, your books must be fully tax-ready by the applicable deadline below, depending on your bookkeeping arrangement. If they are not ready by these dates, an automatic extension will be filed for you.
If you do your own bookkeeping: Books must be ready by February 10.
If you use an outside bookkeeper: Books must be ready by February 15.
If our firm provides bookkeeping services: This requirement does not apply to you.
